Аннотация:
В статье описаны типичные особенности волновых фронтов и систем лучей, огибающих гладкое препятствие в трехмерном пространстве. Эти особенности оказываются связанными с некристаллографическими группами Кокстера I2(5), H3, H4. Доказательства основаны на детальном изучении дискриминантов этих групп с помощью вложения в кристаллографические группы A4, D6, E8 соответственно. Кроме того, в работе дано геометрическое описание некоторых особенностей бикаустик бесстолкновительных потоков частиц. В его основе – вложение групп Кокстера Aμ1, Dμ, D4 как нормальных подгрупп в Bμ, Cμ, F4. Статья содержит обзорный табличный материал о естественной стратификации дискриминантов групп отражений.
