Аннотация:
Предлагается решение проблемы Лапласа, состоящей в том, чтобы найти все инварианты гиперболических уравнений и построить базис инвариантов. Найдены три новых инварианта первого и второго порядков, а также построены операторы инвариантного дифференцирования. Показано, что новые инварианты вместе с двумя инвариантами, обнаруженными Л. В. Овсянниковым, образуют базис, так что любой инвариант произвольного порядка является функцией базисных инвариантов и их инвариантных производных.
