Аннотация:
Доказано, что при любом k∈N для некоторого положительного решения обобщенного разностного уравнения Путнама
xn+1=xn+xn−1+⋯+xn−(k−1)+xn−kxn−(k+1)xnxn−1+xn−2+⋯+xn−(k+1),n∈N0,
имеет место асимптотика
xn=1+(k+1)e−λn+(k+1)e−cλn+o(e−cλn)
при некотором c>1, зависящем от k; здесь λ – корень полинома P(λ)=λk+2−λ−1, лежащий в интервале (1,2). Этот результат используется для доказательства того, что уравнение имеет положительное решение, которое в пределе не равно единице. Кроме того, при k=1, найдены все положительные решения уравнения, которые в пределе равны единице.
