Abstract: We present the data of the calorimetric investigations of the ErMFe2O5.5(M=MgErMFe2O5.5(M=Mg, CaCa, SrSr, Ba)Ba) ferrites and calculation of their thermodynamic functions. As a result of calorimetric studies of the heat capacity, within the temperature range of 298.15298.15673673 K, we discover, at the curves of the Cpf(T)Cpf(T) dependence, the second kind λλ-shaped phase transitions at the following temperatures: 373373 K – ErMgFe2O5.5ErMgFe2O5.5, 398398 K – ErCaFe2O5.5ErCaFe2O5.5; 423423 K – ErBaFe2O5.5ErBaFe2O5.5, 398398 K – ErSrFe2O5.5ErSrFe2O5.5. We derived the equations of the temperature dependence of the heat capacity for the ferrites with account for these phase transformations.
