Abstract:
The paper is based on an approach previously proposed [1] by one of the authors to the
theory of the growth kinetics of liquid nucleation centers that interact with a gas phase
that is in thermodynamic equilibrium. The system is described by the distribution function
of the nucleation-center sizes; an equation for the evolution of this function is obtained
as well as a relaxation-type equation for the temperature of the nucleation centers.
