A note on islands in Schwarzschild black holes

I. Ya. Aref'eva, I. V. Volovich

Steklov Mathematical Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia
References:
Abstract: We consider evaporation of the Schwarzschild black hole and note that island configurations do not provide a bounded entanglement entropy. The same remark is also valid for some other static black holes. A proposal for improving the situation is discussed.
Keywords: black holes, entanglement entropy, island configuration.
