Abstract: We report the results of numerical simulation of the generation of intense low-frequency Alfvén waves produced by periodic laser plasma bunches under conditions of substantially pre-Alfvén expansion at Mach numbers MA ≤ 0.2. The effect of the parameters of background plasma and the mass of ions on the effective generation of waves, as well as their structure and intensity is considered.
