Abstract:
The equations for pulsation moments arising in the simulation of turbulent flows are derived on the basis of a kinetic model previously successfully used to obtain a quasi-gas dynamic system of equations. The construction of a mathematical model is presented for a two-dimensional flow of a weakly compressible gas. At the same time, tuning parameters are not actually used to obtain a closed system describing the turbulent flow as a whole. Calculations of turbulent flows in a flat channel and a mixing layer are given as an example.
Keywords:
quasi-gas dynamic system of equations, turbulent flow, closures of the system
of averaged equations, turbulent mixing layer, turbulent flow in the channel.
