Abstract: Regioselective synthesis of 1,4-difluoro-2,5-dimethyl-3,6-bis-(diphenylphosphoryl)benzene from 1,2,4,5-tetraflouro-3,6-dimethylbenzene and preparation of its coordination polymer with Mn2+ have been developed. The structures of the ligand and the complex have been determined by X-ray diffraction.
