Abstract:
The synthesis of tetra- and pentacyclic fused heterocyclic systems based on the condensation of (S)-α-amino acids with achiral 2,4,6,8-tetra(hydroxymethyl)- and 1,5-butano-2,4,6,8-tetra(hydroxymethyl)glycolurils has been developed.
