Abstract: A new fluorine-containing tricyclononene was synthesized by [2σ + 2σ + 2π]-cycloaddition of quadricyclane with perfluorocyclohexene. This cycloadduct was subjected to ring-opening metathesis polymerization. Gas-transport properties of the obtained polymer were estimated.
