Abstract: By means of diazotization of isomeric diamines containing tetrafluorobenzene units and the further azo-coupling of the obtained diazonium salts with 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde, new bis-bifunctional azo-monomers have been synthesized. Photooptical and thermal properties of the synthesized compounds have been estimated.
