Effect of random anisotropy on the shift of the NMR frequency in the polar phase of superfluid 3He
I. A. Fomin Kapitza Institute for Physical Problems, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia
Abstract:
Orbital anisotropy created by nematic aerogels in superfluid 3He is in general spatially inhomogeneous. It has been shown that fluctuation corrections caused by this inhomogeneity reduces the amplitude of the average order parameter in the polar phase and the shift of the nuclear magnetic resonance frequency. Various corrections have been estimated and the temperature dependences of their contributions to the mentioned macroscopic quantities have been discussed.
