Abstract:
It has been shown that the intensity of the electric dipole radiation from an atomic cluster with a certain arrangement of atoms can be much larger (by a factor of 103–108) than the radiation intensity from an isolated atom owing to the interatomic interaction. This giant enhancement of light is accompanied by a significant change in the radiation spectrum.
