Abstract:
The ab initio FLAPW-GGA calculations of the band structure of a new layered low-temperature (TC ~ 2.2 K) La3Ni4P4O2 superconductor are presented. The energy bands, distributions of the densities of electron states, charge states of the atomic layers, low-temperature electron specific heat, and molar Pauli paramagnetic susceptibility for La3Ni4P4O2 have been determined. They are discussed compared to the existing experimental data.
